Attack on Kurdish Funeral

Both had articles on a car bomb killing 25 people at a Kurdish funeral. I have noted before that Fox tends not to use the term “suicide bomber” and prefers “homicide bomber.” CNN’s article starts out saying “A suicide attack on Sunday …” whereas Fox starts with “A car bomb obliterated a tent…” At one point in Fox’s article it says “Goran said a car plowed into the funeral tent and exploded, but the U.S. military said it was not a homicide attack. About 25 people were killed and more than 50 wounded, the U.S. military said.” Well, it would appear that it was a homicide attack if 25 people were killed intentionally. I suspect that the article meant to say that it was not a suicide attack but replaced “suicide” with “homicide” when it didn’t make sense in this case.
